Field Engineering Services
During this site assessment a project scope is defined for the planning, optimal design, and testing of an RFID solution. C2S will work with your staff to solve your business work flow and process issues. Focusing on these business needs we will determine the best approach to integrating RFID technology within your business. Next an installation design will be structured. We will determine what RFID hardware is required for a successful deployment and establish optimal reader/antenna placement and mounting. Required software and middleware will also be outlined. A critical step will include RFID tag selection, final tag fabrication, placement and testing upon the material(s) to be tracked. Finally a high level interface design document will be prepared for integration into existing business systems, such as ERP and WMS.
Staging Services
Our RFID Engineering Staging Lab has the latest RFID hardware and mounting equipment to simulate the installation of a customer site. Based upon a replicated model, our engineers can quickly configure high volumes of readers, mount and test, prior to field deployment. Optionally, unique mounting requirements can be modeled, fabricated and mass produced. After final testing of the staging process is complete, the staged hardware will then be ready for field deployment.
Field Deployment
Field Deployment involves the onsite installation of RFID Readers, cabling, Antenna’s, network connection, etc. Field Deployment also includes the option of material and/or equipment tagging, with highly fabricated tags or simple tagging and asset data collection. Field Deployment services are available whether or not the Field Engineering or Staging Services are purchased.
