Concept2 Solution implements a RFID tool tracking pilot with a Virginia based construction company. Utilizing the Concept2 Tracker Enterprise Tracker Mobile software along with 2 Motorola MC9090G RFID readers, 100’s of tools are being tracked and inventoried at a specific job-site. Today the tool inventory process is very manual, time consuming and error prone. Additionally, tools are routinely lost and stolen resulting in extremely high operational and replacement costs. The pilot is expected to prove that RFID will streamline the inventory process, reduce time, costs and errors while also providing better control over the job sites tools.
