Concept2 Solution implements RFID core tracking solution with Newark Paperboard and Newark Paperboard customer. Industrial size paperboard cores are tagged with UHF Passive tag on the inside of the paperboard core. Each time the tagged core arrives at the rolling station for reuse, the RFID reader reads the tag and the Tracker Enterprise software application records the cores usage with time and date stamps. By implementing a RFID core tracking solution, Newark Paperboard is now able to automatically track core usage to better monitor core life expectancy and control on hand inventory.
